Brass hexagonal bars
Hexagonal brass bars are semi-finished products obtained by hot pressing and cold drawing, with excellent mechanical machining, electroplating, sealing and soldering properties, good resistance to spot welding and less good resistance to electric arc or laser welding.
Brass is resistant to organic substances, neutral or alkaline compounds, but it corrodes easily in an ammonia atmosphere and mechanical stress, and special attention must be paid to dezincification in hot and acidic waters.
