INDUSTRIAL COPPER SHEETS
Industrial copper sheets
Industrial copper sheets are semi-finished products obtained by cold rolling, having:
- a) Cu-ETP - high electrical and thermal conductivity and excellent plastic deformation properties. For this type of copper special precautions are required when heat treating, welding or soldering in a hydrogen atmosphere to prevent hydrogen embrittlement.
- b) Cu-DHP - has excellent welding, bonding and plastic deformation properties both hot and cold, but no emphasis on electrical and thermal conductivity.
COMMON AREAS OF USE FOR INDUSTRIAL COPPER SHEETS:
- in the electrical and electronics industry,
- automotive industry,
- telecommunications,
- solar energy technology,
- household products,
- production of boilers.
