Square and hexagonal copper bars
Copper bars are semi-finished products obtained by hot pressing and cold drawing, having:
- a) Cu-ETP – High electrical and thermal conductivity and excellent plastic deformation properties. For this type of copper special precautions are required during heat treatment, welding or soldering in a hydrogen atmosphere to prevent hydrogen embrittlement.
- b) Cu-DHP – has excellent welding, bonding and plastic deformation properties in both hot and cold conditions.
COMMON AREAS OF USE FOR SQUARE AND HEXAGONAL COPPER BARS:
- for the construction of electrical and mechanical equipment,
- in construction,
- art and architecture.
