Tinned copper bars
Tin plating is an electrochemical process that coats the surface of copper bars with a glossy layer of tin. Tin-plated coatings are plastic and can withstand lamination, pressing, stamping and soldering.
The surface of tin-plated copper bars exhibits high chemical stability, does not oxidise in humid air and reacts very slowly to dilute solutions of various acids.
COMMON AREAS OF USE FOR COPPER TINNED BARS:
Materials for contact components in electrical power transmission or construction of machinery and equipment operating in highly corrosive environments.
- Minimum order quantity at the factory
Tinned copper bars can be ordered directly from the factory according to the following technical parameters:
WIDTH MAX, MM LENGTH MAX ,MM TIN COATING STANDARD TIN COATING MINIMUM ORDER QUANTITY, KG 200 6000 5 – 30 µm 8 µm 500
- Coating with service providers
Copper bars can be tinned on request, through the service companies with whom COLOR METAL SRL collaborates:
