Precision Plates

The cast plates, trimmed on 6 sides and then subjected to milling on one or both sides, become precision plates or are also called calibrated plates. These plates have a thickness tolerance of +/- 0.1 mm. The standard size is 1520x3020 mm, but other dimensions, such as 2050x4050 mm, can also be offered. These plates always come with a protective film on the milled surfaces.

Trimmed Plates

The cast plates, trimmed/cut on 6 sides, are obtained by slicing cast aluminum blocks to the desired thickness. Typically, from the initial block format with thicknesses of 500-1000 mm, plates are obtained in various standard sizes, the most common being 1520x3020 mm with a nominal thickness between 6 and 150 mm. Of course, thicker plates can be obtained, but sizes over 150 mm are available only by special order.
