Configuration and tolerances for bar edges EN 13601
Square, hexagonal and flat bars may be supplied with sharp edges, rounded edges or semicircular edges. The type of edge shall be specified at the time of ordering.

1) SHARP EDGES
Sharp edges (SH), for square, hexagonal and flat bars, are according to Figure 1.

2) ROUNDED EDGES
Rounded edges (RD), for square, hexagonal and flat bars, are as shown in Figure 2.

3) SEMICIRCULAR EDGES
The radius of the semicircular edges (CE) of flat bars shall be half the thickness and shall comply with a tolerance of ± 20% of the radius; the arc of curvature shall merge smoothly into the adjacent flat surface and shall be free from sharp, rough or protruding edges.
